I came back from Rhodes and the NatWest Island Games on July 8, 2007 and it's been a good learning experience! The heat was tough, 38C in the shade so you felt exhausted even before the start of the races! The pace of the cyclists are very fast! For example the winner of the Time Trial, Isle of Man's Andrew Roche rode 40km in 50min 15s giving an average speed of 48 km/h!

For me I was listed as shared 12'th in the criterium, I abandonded the Road Race (heat + bad organizing) and finished 52 in the Time Trial. I'm happy with my results as there were 62 registered riders.

I've just started training again after Xmas and I hope to do a few races in Sweden and of course the National Championships on Åland this year. This year I will focus on getting a lot of mileage in the legs so I can be prepared to tackle the Finnish National Championships in 2009.
