Bomans Gästhem – Hostel of the Year 2007!   The Board of Hostelling International Finland has named Bomans Gästhem as the Hostel of the Year 2007. Bomans Gästhem is located in the island of Vårdö in the Åland Islands (between Finland and Sweden). The cosy hostel offers accommodation in a newly restored farmhouse and a newbuilt hostel with two cottages and annexes. In addition to accommodation and meal services the hostel offers activities in the beautiful archipelago surroundings. The hostel is open 1.5-30.9. (at other times by agreement). Bomans Gästhem has been part of the HI Finland network for five years. It was the first HI hostel in the Åland Islands.
