How to get there

The Aland Islands are situated between Finland and Sweden in the Baltic Sea. The easiest and quickest way to access the islands is to take a flight, operated by Finnair and Air Botnia/SAS, from Helsinki in Finland or Stockholm in Sweden. These flights can easily be connected with international flights by all airlines from any destination.

Compass

There are also several boat connections from both Finland and Sweden. Viking Line, Silja Line, Eckero Linjen and Birka Cruises are cruise lines that have connections to Mariehamn in the Aland Islands from the neighbouring countries. Your travel agent can assist you with all flight or boat details, from any destination to the Aland Islands.
