I was born in Sweden and moved to Åland when I was 2 years old. Started my career by singing in the hard rock band Signs Of Life at the end of the 80's with my brother who also plays in Barka Vall, went on to be a thrash metal drummer in Bröilers Öf Death ('89) and then on to be bass player and singer in the metal band Contamination Of Expressions ('92-'96). Have been in a lot of other cover bands and projects in between, such as Chickenkillers, The Vincent Sisters, Strange Kind Of Purple...
Formed the medieval music group "a austrvega" with a couple of others in 1995 and managed to get my brother Nicke, Hanski and Ella to play with us and thereby the idea for this band started. I've been playing guitar a little bit before but not seriously before Barka Vall. I don't really consider myself a guitarist, but it's kind of fun to pretend.
