  The Eldorado came standard in four colors: Aztek red, Azure blue, Alpine white and black with white inserts. There were two-way power seats, hydra-matic transmission, power steering, dual heaters and windshield washers.
  The radio came as standard equipment and featured signal seeking and preselectors. Windows were also power-operated.
1953 Cadillac Eldorado The first Cadillac Eldorado was available only as a convertible with crome wire wheels standard and the most powerful engine in the industry, 210 hp.
 Although each had to be practically handmade by Cadillac, these were the production cars, and more than 500 were manufactured selling at $7,750 a copy.
 Aimed at a younger buyer than the traditional Cadillac customer , the car introduced the wraparound windshield and had unique sliding handle door openings. Click here or on the picture to wiew a original factory photo of the Cadillac Eldorado Convertible 1953.
