1. First, create a new RGB image
(File\New...) with the measurements
128*128, 256*256, 512*512 or even higher (just take 512*2=1024)
with a white background.
2. Add noise (Filter\Noise\Noise...) and
use settings 999 , Uniform and
Monochromatical checked.
3. Use
Filter\Noise\Median with the setting 2.
Then use Filter\Other\Offset\ with both
width and height set to 64 (that is, if you are using an 128*128
image, you should use 128 if your image is 256*256, 256 if your'e
using a 512*512 image etc.). Make sure Wrap
Around is selected.
4. Use
Filter\Stylize\Emboss. Here you can play
around with the settings (I used angle 140, height 1 and amount
50%).
5. Now go to
Image\Adjust\Hue/Saturation. Check
colorize. The settings shown here will give a dark, red background
(For my exapmle I used Hue= 100
Saturation=75
Lightness=-50).
6. And this is what it looks like seamed together:
