Emboss background #3


1. First, create a new RGB image (File\New...) with the measurements 256*256, 512*512 or even higher (just take 512*2=1024) with a white background.



2. Have black as forecolor and white as backcolor , and go to Filter\Render\Clouds.



3. Use Filter\Artistic\Spunge... with the settings 2, 25 and 4.



4. Use Filter\Stylize\Emboss. Here you can play around with the settings (I used angle 140, height 2 and amount 50%).



5. Go to Image\Adjust\Hue/Saturation. Press colorize. These settings will give a dark, red background. If you want to have black text, use higher settings for lightness (like +50):



6. And this is what it looks like seamed together:




7. You can now use Filter\Render\Difference Clouds to get another pattern:
